Built in a store, for stores.

PizzaBot started in 2020 with a Raspberry Pi, a label printer, and a prep table that kept running out of correctly dated containers. That first tool became Preppy, which now prints expiration labels in about 25 stores.

Everything since has come from the same place: running a multi-store franchise and building the tool we wished someone sold. Scheduling and hiring became PizzaBot HQ. Site selection became Store Planner. The job aid cards on the wall became OCGuide. The walk-in became DMS.

How we work

• Cheap hardware, no lock-in. Consumer tablets and mini PCs. If one dies, replace it and sign back in.
• Offline first in the kitchen. A store never stops printing labels because the internet blinked.
• Data stays where it belongs. Kiosk products keep their data on the device. Office products are built to pass franchisor vendor security review.
• Living docs. Setup guides and changelogs are generated from the same repos as the software.
